A HSSE Policy that Meets International Standards

TAQA Morocco has always considered Health, Safety, and the Environment to be a priority in its strategic orientations.

In fact, management has always strived to guarantee the health and safety of its employees, with a zero incident and injury objective.

Since 2007, and in the context of a continuous improvement approach, the company has adopted an international Workplace Health and Safety Management System compliant with the OHSAS 18001 reference.

While still being an active and efficient operator in the energy market of Morocco, TAQA Morocco has the aim of continually reducing its environmental impact. Working to be a genuine CSR oriented company, TAQA Morocco has made protecting the environment a priority and subject to firm commitments.

Integrated QSE Management System

As part of the continual improvement strategy for its management TAQA Morocco received in November 2014 QSE certification for its management system (Quality ISO 9001, Health and Safety OHSAS 18,001 and the Environment ISO 14,001) for all of its activities. In 2015, following an audit by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), this certification was upheld.

TAQA Morocco, a company listed on the Casablanca Stock exchange, thus confirmed its commitment, and that of all of its teams, to produce energy in a way that respects both quality and the environment, always working for the national energy sector.

As a reminder, TAQA Morocco had already been granted ISO 9001 for the production of electricity in 2003, and the purchase and handling of coal in 2008, and more generally ISO 14,001 in 2004, and OHSAS 18,001since 2007.
